The extension was commissioned in the spring and carried out in the autumn. Despite a lot of weather it was completed by the end of November. There were no snags which required Realistic to return and fix. This gives you an indication of the high standard of the build. I'm very pleased with the result. It's warm and cosy despite the fact that 2.5 sides of the building are made entirely of glass. The photos give a good idea of the finished product. As you see it was attached to the rear wall of the property. Please note that it is up to the purchaser to install their own choice of final floor cover & blinds as well as completing the painting / decorating. This is an addditional cost for which there must be another but much smaller budget. Whilst Realistic are not the cheapest choice you might consider, you do get what you pay for. Consequently I have no hesitation in recommending Realistic to you for any similar property upgrade you have in mind.

Realistic windows fitted our new aluminium windows and a door to our whole house earlier this year. The product is very good quality (Aluk) and it has really improved the feel and look of our house. The pricing was competitive compared with other companies locally. I’m happy with the service that Ryan and Jen gave us and they communicated well with us. They resolved an issue with one of the windows which did not fit properly without any fuss and overall we are very pleased with the results. I would recommend them to others.

The door we ordered was fitted well before the expected date which was a bonus. We were contacted before fitting with a day and time and the fitters were spot on time. They were friendly and very personable and explained what was going to happen and checked with us throughout to ensure we were happy. The door itself was very high quality and much better than we were expecting. The fitting could not be faulted and the guys cleaned up after themselves and left no mess. After exploring a new conservatory and receiving a number of quotes Ryan at Realistic Home Improvements Limited was the company that understood exactly what we wanted. We wanted something different that wouldn't just look like a re-furb and we certainly achieved a real transformation . Once you have the plan and vision it made the whole experience really enjoyable. Investing in your home shouldn't just be about being sensible it should be about realising how you will use the space to enhance how your live and for us the new conservatory has completely transformed a space that was cold and noisy when it rained to a stunning part of our home that delivers more that we ever thought . So plan , vision- big tick , installation by the team was superb . Led by Chris you would seldom find a harder working team , punctual hard working and not afraid of all the British weather threw at them! We went from a white plastic tatty conservatory to a warm solid structure with what we think is the real WOW factor . We use the room far more than we ever did and am really looking forward to enjoying the seasons not worried about too warm - too cold . The photos bring to life the changes but the peace of mind knowing we have improved the energy efficiency is also so important as you get older .

Realistic fitted a new conservatory for us, replacing our previous one with new glass and roof and we couldn't be more pleased. We had previously received a quote from another company but Ryan really impressed us with his knowledge and built the conservatory on his laptop in front of us, recommending and amending things as we went. The other company didn't do any of this and he also advised us that if we were to extend we would need new planning permissions again not mentioned by the other company. The conservatory itself was completed in record time, there was no messing about and all the team involved in the construction were excellent, we absolutely love it and I would highly recommend Realistic.

My experience with this company has been very good. Lock down prevented the job from starting in the Spring as planned, but Realistic took pains to keep me up to date with their situation, and once the work got under way, it proceeded apace. Two weeks from start to finish to re-roof a 48 sq m conservatory, as well as replacing two sets of bifold doors! The installers, were helpful, friendly, constantly cheery chappies who undertook a tremendous amount of work on a daily basis, carried out to a high standard. The installation speed was further helped when three plasterers arrived and completed the boarding and skimming of the entire ceiling in a day. The grey tiled roof looks really authentic, down to a slightly ragged edge where it appears the rock has been split. People who see it assume it is traditional slate. Realistic deserve to go from strength to strength, and I unhesitatingly recommend them.

We had a new composite door fitted yesterday. The whole process was simple from start to finish, there was no hard sell but instead help on choosing the right options for us. Even over Christmas the door arrived quickly and they came to fit it almost the next working day. The fitters were quick efficient and really pleasant to deal with and it was all done well before lunch!

Recently had a new door fitted by Realistic. We wanted an Apeer door and they came up as local fitters. The whole process was very smooth. Jen is absolutely amazing- I had lots of questions which were answered very quickly and I was kept up to date with a manufacturing delay. Very impressed with the rest of the team too. The fitters were very efficient with minimal mess during the door installation, and they were very helpful when I had a question about the door lock. Highly recommended and we hope to use them again in the future when we do our extension.

Everything was explained clearly in advance including different options. The work was done on time and cleared up tidily afterwards. Really pleased with the work.

"Due to an unfortunate incident my front door got damaged and dented. The insurance agreed to pay for a new door. Went to realistic home improvements in saltash, had a very quick response, quickly came out to do a quote and the door was ordered. To be honest, I’ve never had a new door before eso had no idea what I was ordering and what was good or not. The door arrived, WOW!!! it is beautiful and amazing quality. The locks and door handles are incredible quality and the latest secure technology when I researched it all later after I got it. I was very impressed how they made sure I had the best quality items on the door when to be honest they could’ve put anything as I would never have known!! So they are very trustworthy, very happy to help, great after service, beautiful door and the fitters were very very friendly and were very considerate of my son who has autism who was having his breakfast in the kitchen when it was being fitted.
